Sneak Peek - Tabletop Photo Shoot with Karen Tran Florals
Yesterday, I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot with one of my favorite floral designers in San Diego - Karen Tran at the Napili Lawn at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa. Karen emailed me a few months ago, telling me that she would be visiting Maui for a few days and would love to do a tabletop photo shoot with me. I was extremely flattered!

We did one tablescape with 3 variations. The colors that Karen chose was eggplant, lavender and platinum. She was the mastermind behind the entire design and I helped with the coordination. Since we have very limited resources here on the island, Karen had to bring most of the items with her from San Diego - the vases, the candle holders, gazing balls and the lovely linens from Wildflower Linen. She did buy the flowers here on Maui though! Isn’t everything just gorgeous?
Normally, I would post more than two photos as a sneak peak, but since Karen is submitting the shoot to one of the upscale wedding publications in California, you all will just have to wait a few more months for all the AMAZING details!
I would like to thank Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa for providing the beautiful oceanfront venue, their wonderful staff as well as the table/glassware/flatware; Pacific Isle Rentals for providing the bamboo dining canopy and silver chiavari chairs; Dellables and Jana Morgan for their assistance, and the most talented Mike Adrian for photographing this shoot. Agatha - all the florals and table decor were done by Karen Tran Florals… http://www.karentran.com. She is based in San Diego!
