Printed Velon Designs
I am currently working on the tent design with my design team for my November wedding. Our options are either going with 2 Raj Tents and a few smaller tents, or 1 big tent - hopefully with the printed Velon Designs.
I love the Printed Velon… it’s a vinyl fabric made of recycled plastic. Not only is it a more economical alternative than regular tent fabric, it is also very environmentally friendly because it is recyclable. It can drape anything from 10,000 square foot tents to 65,000 square foot ballrooms.

The mastermind behind the Printed Velon is the premier San Francisco event designer, Robert Fountain of Robert Fountain Designs, who founded Velon Designs back in 2007. Currently, there are over 300 patterns in stock which can be matched to any Pantone color in the world. Or if you have a specific pattern and color or wallpaper sample or fabric swatch that strikes your fancy, you can send it to them and they will try to match it for you.
Their newest collection this past summer was the Printed Crystal Velon, which comes in rolls and can be applied directly to plexi-glass, acrylics, glass vases or glass furniture such as the ghost chairs (shown below). What a brilliant idea!

I love it! So much nicer for photographs then boring ol’ white. I love the green aspect too!

i love the idea of an eco friendly tent design! wonderful!
