Featured Wedding - Karen & Micah
Karen first contacted me last April for her wedding this May. Although she and Micah didn’t get a chance to fly out to Maui for a scouting trip prior to their wedding, we did everything by phone and by email and we had a great time planning the wedding together.
They wanted a Filipino Catholic ceremony, so after looking at photos of a few churches, they finally decided on the beautiful Holy Rosary Church - one of my favorites on the island! Plus Father Patrick is such a wonderful priest. The reception was held at the amazing Sugarman Estate.
Without further ado, here are some of the photos from their very special day:
BUTTERFLIES: The Maui Butterfly Farm. CAKE & CATERING: Catering from Soup to Nuts. FLORALS & CHANDELIERS: Dellables. LANTERNS: Pacific Isle Rentals. LINENS & RENTALS: Island Rents. PHOTOS: Dulce by Visionari.
For their special entertainment, Karen hired “Auntie Maddy” and her group of dancers to perform a few Filipino, Hula and Tahitian dances. Everyone really enjoyed it.
Congrats, Karen and Micah. All the best to you both, and when I am in town to visit my sister-in-law and her family in Boston, I will definitely let you know!
