Little Palm Island
There is one venue in the U.S. that I have been dreaming to do a destination wedding at. Believe it or not, it’s not in Hawaii! I came across this location while reading a travel magazine, and I thought - Wow, it will be so awesome to plan a wedding there.
Why is this location so special? Because it is on a private island and is only accessible by boat or seaplane. Talking about being secluded. It will be perfect for a celebrity or high profile wedding!
The Little Palm Island Resort & Spa is tucked offshore of Little Torch Key in Florida, about 120 miles southwest of the Miami International Airport. There are 30 thatched-roof, oceanfront suites, and the only things that are missing at the resort are telephones and televisions. They do have WI-FI access, but why would you want to be connected with the outside world when all you need is a great book and relax at their spa?!
Little Palm Island specializes in small, romantic weddings of up to 40 guests (no guests under the age of 16 is allowed at the resort). You can choose the white sandy beach, the lush tropical Zen Garden, the harbor view Palapa Point gazebo or their Sunset Dock for your ceremony, and their award-winning culinary team will cater the wedding reception.
