I Love HGTV
You are probably wondering why I am posting about a TV channel on my wedding blog. Usually, when I am not working on my clients’ weddings or any other wedding-related projects, I enjoy watching the HGTV channel because it gives me a lot of ideas and inspirations on color combination, table settings, lighting and every decor elements that I can possibly use for my weddings.
Here are my 2 favorite shows and designers:
“Divine Design with Candice Olsen”
I love Candice because of her taste and style when it comes to the decor. It’s very modern and chic and her design is always very clean and inviting. She always uses different textures and everything blends in very well with the environment.
“Color Splash with David Bromstad”
I also love David because he is not afraid to use colors, patterns and try to mix and match them. He said that people normally are very afraid of colors, and they just don’t know what to do with them. Most of the time they will go matchy-matchy, but that can become mundane. That’s why I tell my brides to explore their color palettes and not be afraid to mix and match everything.

I just saw that episode where Candice did that brown kitchen (see pic above) and I SWEAR I’d GLADLY give my first born to that woman if she’d come do my tragic kitchen on one of her shows! The woman is a design GENIUS!!!
