Featured Wedding - Shawna & Brett
I was super excited when Shawna first contacted me in February 2008. First of all, I love having at least 12 months (if not more) to plan each wedding… that way I get to really know my clients plus I will have tons of time to work out all of the details with them. Secondly, when Shawna told me that she is a Landscape Architect, I knew we were going to have a great time designing her wedding.

Shawna knew exactly what she wanted in terms of her colors, florals and decor. And before this wedding, I never thought I liked succulents. But now, I thought they look really nice mixed into the bouquet of flowers and even in centerpieces. Thanks, Shawna, for introducing me to these little plants!
Both Shawna and Brett are Italians (and you all probably know by now how much I love anything from Italy), so my favorite part of the evening was when all the guests came out to the dance floor and did the Italian Tarentella Dance. For a moment, I thought I was back in Sicily again!
Everyone had such a wonderful time, and a few guests actually came up to tell me how much they enjoyed the wedding and everything that was put together. That’s why I love my job… I want to see family and friends having a great time and sharing such a special day with my clients.
