With destination weddings, I always advice my clients to send out their save the date cards 9 to 12 months prior to their wedding. Now I’d like to introduce the new “Save the date movies”! Yes, you heard right… you can send out a movie clip as opposed to just a card in the mail.

For those of you who are eco-conscious, this is the best way to announce your special day. It saves trees, it saves postage, it saves money and who doesn’t like movies, right? You are going to get a wedding movie for your big day anyway, so why not get one for your save the dates too!?!

Andrew Hsu of Studio MSV in Northern California is the mastermind behind this great new concept - SaveTheDateMovies.com. Still not convinced, you can check out the following movie:
