The Knot Wedding Network’s Industry Networking Event
It’s so exciting that all of the wedding events are happening while I am back on the mainland. We really need to have more networking mixers or something on Maui. I am a social butterfly and I feel so left out! :)
I was at The Knot Wedding Network’s Industry Networking Event last night and it was great meeting new friends and seeing old friends. Thanks to Stacie and Jewel for inviting me!
Here are more pictures from the event at the San Francisco Design Center:
This was one of the signature cocktails - Blueberry Kamikaze, and that’s what I had ‘cuz I love blueberries…
Another cocktail bar area…
And the delicious cupcakes by Cake Coquette. I was too busy socializing that I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the rest of the hors d’oeuvres… Oooops!
Here is me and the “Flirty Girl” Stacie Tamaki with The Flirty Guide:
Here is me and the amazing Duncan Reyes with F. Duncan Reyes Events by Design. I can’t believe he speaks better pidgin than I do! :)
Here is me and the lovely Liz Guthrie with San Jose Wedding Consultants:
And of course, me with the talented Jubilee Lau with Jubilee Lau Events and Jean Marks with Jean Marks Weddings. Special photo credit goes to my buddy Andrew Hsu with Studio MSV! Thanks for meeting my 12:00 midnight deadline, Andrew! You are DA best! :)
We have all been following each other’s blogs, Facebook/Twitter pages for a while now, so it’s nice to finally get to meet everyone in person! It feels like we have known each other for a long time. It’s incredible so many people knew that I am the “planner in Hawaii” and they all came up to me to say hello! I am so honored!
A very special thank you to Michelle Barrionuevo-Mazzini with MB Wedding Designs for organizing this event while I am in town! It’s so great to see you again, Michelle… and yes, I came back to SF just to attend your event! Michelle and I actually go way back in the days when we were both planning our weddings on The Knot from San Francisco. Yes, we were the “NorCal Knotties”!

Aww, it looks like you had fun at the event. I would love it if we had a destination wedding vendor event on Maui. That way people could vacation & get together! Take care and I’ll see you on Saturday!

That blueberry kamikaze sounds delightful.
