Here are a few wedding favor suggestions for weddings here on Maui:

Wow Wee Maui Chocolate Bars
These are my favorite chocolate bars.  The Milk Chocolate/Coffee/Toffee  is amazing!  The bars are made right here on Maui and come in 8 mouthwatering flavors.  It is very simple to take off the outside wrapper and replace it with one of your own custom wrappers.  Make sure to store the chocolate in a cool space so that they don’t melt in the hot Maui sun!

Mai Tai Mix
Who doesn’t love a good mai tai?  You can send guests home with a taste of the islands as their favor.  Select a pre-made mixer or for the do-it-yourself bride, you can make your own.  Find pretty jars to hold the mix and attach a tag that explains how much rum to add.  Another option is to recreate a mixer for your signature drink if you had one at the reception.  Here is a mai tai recipe that I like to make at home:

This is the authentic traditional Mai Tai recipe from the “Mai Tai” Bar at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. The original Mai Tai was created by Victor J. Bergeron in 1944 and brought to Hawaii in 1953 at the Royal Hawaiian, Moana and Surfrider Hotels.

Ingredients:

1 oz. Dark Rum
1 oz Light Rum
1 oz Orange Curacao
2 oz Orange Juice
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Dash Orgeat
Dash Simple syrup (bar syrup)

Preparation:

Combine all of the ingredients in the order listed in a Old Fashioned style glass over shaved ice. Stir with a swizzle stick. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.  Put out metal buckets filled with ice holding the bottles for guests to grap on their way out.  This way, they remember all the island memories of your wedding when they’re enjoying their cocktail later.

Place all the bottles in metal buckets for guests to take as they leave.

Ola Hawaiian Body Products
This is my favorite hawaiian bath & body product line.  It is based out of Hilo and they have the best smelling fragrances and use quality ingredients.  You can give out a “tropical smoothie” body lotion, a “coconut lemongrass” pure cane sugar scrub, or a Passion Fruit Citrus candle to let guests take the scents of paradise back home.  Contact Hawaiian Body Products direct to see if they can give you any type of wholesale discount for a large order.

Thank you so much, Kilee for sharing some of your favorite wedding favors.  I hope my clients will be able to try out these great products while they are on the islands.

    This is awesome.

I prefer to take edible wedding favors, this is more enjoyable. but
the near fact to consider in choosing your wedding favors is the budget of couples.
