An “Ice Paradise” Wedding
One hotel/resort has the luxury of being redesigned and rebuilt every single year. That’s right, it’s the Hotel de Glace in Quebec, Canada… also known as the “Ice Hotel”. When I was in Toronto the last few weeks, I didn’t get a chance to drive up to Quebec to see the 9th edition of the hotel, but one of these days I will make it there.
Even though the hotel is only going to be opened for 12 weeks in 2009, it has wowed over half a million visitors since it first opened its doors in 2001! Over 150 couples from around the world, including same-sex couples, have tied the knot in their beautiful ice chapel. They offer 3 different wedding packages ranging from CAN$2,199.00 to CAN$5,899.00.
If you are looking for something unique and magical and don’t mind the COLD, a wedding at the Hotel de Glace might just be for you and your special someone!
